PAT Testing is vital for your company as the Health and Safety Executive claimed that over two thousand fires in a single year were caused by faulty leads from appliances. After all it is the Law to protect all users of your portable electrical items both from fires and electric shocks.
The main purpose of PAT Testing is to provide the safety of your employees, your customers and yourself. Also landlords are required to provide tenants with an electrical installation that is safe and consistently tested on an annual basis.
.Each appliance is given a visual inspection for signs of wear,damage or fatigue and correct value fuse
.Each appliance is then connected to approved testing equipment by an approved tester.

An insulation test
A leakage test
An earth bond test
On completion of test the results will be analysed by the tester and a test certificate forwarded to the customer in a few days.
